Isaac Kappy, an actor who had a small role in the 2011 “Thor” movie, died on Monday after jumping off a bridge in Bellemont, Arizona, and being struck by a truck. He was 42.

Kappy forced himself off the Transwestern Road bridge onto Interstate 40 where he was hit by a Ford pickup truck, Department of Public Safety spokesperson Bart Graves said Tuesday morning, the Arizona Daily Sun reported.

Two teenagers driving past got out of their vehicle and tried to physically restrain Kappy from jumping, but failed, according to authorities.

“We don’t know why Mr. Kappy took his own life,” Graves said in a statement. No one else was injured during the incident and the investigation has been closed.

Along with the Chris Hemsworth Marvel hit “Thor,” the 42-year-old actor from Albuquerque, New Mexico, also had small roles in movies such as “Terminator Salvation,” “Fanboys” and “Beerfest.”

Kappy wrote a long Instagram post before his death in which he said, “While I supposedly wanted to make America great, I have not put much work AT ALL into making MYSELF great.”

He went on to admit to tax delinquencies, debts, abusing his body with cigarettes, drugs and alcohol, and abusing people who loved him.

“To the MANY people I have acted abusively towards, I am very, very sorry,” Kappy wrote. “To my former friends I have used and betrayed, I am sorry. To those I have deceived, I am sorry, although I must say, in my SHEER ARROGANCE, I did not even realize that I had been a bad actor all along.

“I will be using the remainder of my time on earth to atone for my transgressions, and to seek the light within, in others and myself,” he said.
