Selena Gomez picked the wrong day to tape a “Tonight Show.”
On Tuesday, the singer/actress joined Jimmy Fallon for a game of “Hot Ones.” No, NBC did not steal the oft-trending YouTube series’ concept — they brought “Hot Ones” host Sean Evans out to entertain a linear audience and moderate the insanity.
Gomez was given a cup of milk for when the wing sauce got serious. When it came to his own table settling, Fallon brought out the actual Stanley Cup filled with the frothy white stuff.
Yes, the NHL apparently agreed to this to plug Wednesday’s Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals on NBC. Give that thing a good bath before the deciding game — and subsequent celebration — please.
By the time “The Last Dab” came around, Gomez was in tears. Hey, we’re not judging — we’d be crying from the heat too.
“I hate it!” she yelled.
“You are a sick, evil man!” Fallon said to Evans.
Gomez demanded answers: “Why do you do this to people?!”
