ABC brought back “Press Your Luck” on Tuesday, when the revival’s debut mostly avoided any [insert Whammy sound here].

The classic game show and its “Bachelorette” lead-in were still not enough to overtake NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and “Songland.”

Also of particular note last night, Telemundo was able to finish third among adults 18-49, topping CBS and Fox. While Fox was all reruns, CBS did air one original show.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.3 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 7.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “AGT” from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. posted a 1.5/8 and 9.3 million viewers. “Songland” at 10 had a 0.9/5 and 4.4 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.1/6 and third in viewers with 4.2 million. “The Bachelorette” from 8-10 put up a 1.3/7 and 4.7 million viewers. At 10, “Press Your Luck” got a 0.8/4 and 3.2 million viewers. The Elizabeth Banks-hosted game show landed ABC’s best summertime numbers in the hour in almost three years.

Telemundo was third in ratings with a 0.5/2 and fifth in viewers with 1.4 million. Kate del Castillo’s “La Reina Del Sur” at 10 was the network’s big show, with a 0.7/4 and 1.7 million viewers.

CBS and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. CBS was second in total viewers with 4.4 million, Univision was sixth with 1.1 million.

For CBS, following repeats, “Blood & Treasure” at 10 received a 0.4/2 and 3.8 million viewers.

Fox was sixth in ratings with a 0.3/2 and fourth in viewers with 1.8 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 879,000. Following a repeat, “The 100” at 9 had a 0.2/1 and 902,000 viewers.

Those CW numbers could be a bit skewed by the fact that it aired the New York Mets vs. New York Yankees game in the New York City market.
