“This Is Us” executive producer and director Ken Olin has signed an overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television, the studio said Wednesday.

The pact is Olin’s first with the now-Disney-owned studio and will have him developing new projects for all platforms. The news of his deal comes a month after “This Is Us” creator Dan Fogelman renewed his own contract with 20th Century Fox TV, which was followed by NBC’s announcement that it had handed the family drama a three-season renewal.

“Ken is a special talent and a terrific guy who has been such a valuable resource to Dan and everyone at ‘This Is Us,’” 20th Century Fox TV’s president of creative affairs Jonnie Davis said. “Keeping him at this studio and on that important show was literally a mission for Howard [Kurtzman, president of business operations] and me, and we’re equally excited to work on other projects with him. He’s hungry and excited to do more which is music to our ears.”

Olin added: “I feel incredibly fortunate to continue working with Dan Fogelman and our entire ‘This Is Us’ family while at the same time developing new projects with Dana Walden, Craig Hunegs, Jonnie Davis and Howard Kurtzman. Over the course of my career I’ve had two homes – Disney and 20th – and now they’re one! Oh, happy day.”

Since the inception of Disney Television Studios, which was created after Disney acquired several of 21st Century Fox’s film and TV assets in a $71.3 billion merger that closed in March, the studio has announced 21 overall deals with creative talent including Adam F. Goldberg, Phoebe Robinson, Jon Steinberg, the Molyneux, Drew Goddard, John Legend’s company Get Lifted Film Co., Jason Winer, Jon Cassar, Octavia Spencer, Jason Richman, Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, Nora Smith, Joanna Coles, Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar, Raven Metzner, Marlene King, Liz Meriwether, Amy Holden Jones, Dan Fogelman, Jon M. Chu and Andrew Stearn Productions.

Along with his role as executive producer and director on “This Is Us,” Olin’s notable credits include executive producing and directing ABC’s now-ended drama “Brothers & Sisters” and acting as executive producer on the Jennifer Garner-led “Alias,” which ran from 2001-2006.

He is repped by WME and Jackoway Tyerman.
