Is it possible to put an end to Tom Holland doing press to promote Marvel movies? Sigh, probably not. So you’re just going to have to endure the young MCU star’s inability to keep spoilers under wraps if you want to watch his interviews.
And that includes his “Graham Norton Show” appearance Friday, during which he revealed a massive plot point from “Avengers: Endgame” while promoting the upcoming “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
So, that said, if you do not want to know said “massive plot point,” you might want to stop reading about now.
“The film is a direct continuation of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ so we deal with the ramifications of the blip, of the death of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.),” Holland said. “Sorry if anyone hasn’t seen the film! If you haven’t, then you’re living under a rock, to be honest.”
OK, so he’s not totally wrong here, seeing as “Endgame” premiered in theaters on April 26 and it should have been near impossible for anyone who has access to the internet to have avoided learning about Stark’s death up until now. And this is all on top of the fact that directors Anthony and Joe Russo have already lifted their spoiler ban on the movie.
But still, several “Graham Norton” viewers weren’t thrilled to get the news via Holland’s interview.
