Corey Just Doesn’t Want to Get Malaria on ’90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’ (Exclusive Video)

Welcome to Ecuador, bud

Perhaps Corey didn’t think through this whole “The Other Way” part of TLC’s latest “90 Day Fiance” spinoff.

On Monday’s episode of “90 Day Fiance: The Other Way,” the American arrives in Ecuador to be with Evelin at her grandmother’s house. The dwelling is not quite up to his standard, as it lacks proper roofing, windows and doors.

Corey is gonna be real disappointed when he looks to plug in the bug zapper he bought.

“It’s not worth getting malaria,” he sums up his major life decision in a sneak peek exclusive to TheWrap.

Watch the video above.

Corey first met Evelin while on a trip to her small fishing village. After four years of dating, Corey wants to take things to the next level, which means he’ll have to move to Ecuador, since Evelin doesn’t want to live in the United States, per TLC. Already having spent tens of thousands of dollars on Evelin and her family, Corey is fully invested in the relationship. But moving to Evelin’s hometown will mean accepting a simpler way of life, including poor electricity and no running hot water.

And no mosquito nets. Good luck with that.

“90 Day Fiance: The Other Way” airs Mondays at 9/8c on TLC.
