ABC doesn’t have the network show with the biggest DVR viewing, or even the second.
But it does dominate the Top 10 list: five of its shows rank in the Top 10 in broadcast for DVR gains, with the remainder split among CBS, Fox and NBC in the latest numbers. Bottom line: ABC is really seeing the advantages of DVR viewing.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” leads the network’s shows with +2.1 rating points. It is followed by “Modern Family” (+2.0 rating points), “Grey’s Anatomy” (+1.8 rating points), “Nashville” (+1.3 rating points) and “Scandal” (+1.3 rating points).

What that means is that a fair share of ABC’s viewers aren’t watching live but are certainly catching up on the shows within the following seven days, known as the “+7” part of the “Live +7” ratings numbers.
CBS and Fox tie for the second highest amount of shows in the Top 10 with two each — “The Big Bang Theory” tops the list in the No. 1 spot. NBC only cracks the Top 10 once with its hit freshman series, “The Blacklist,” but it does take the No. 2 ranking.
