‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Nabs ‘Torchwood’s’ Paul James for Recurring Role

Also an alum of ABC Family’s “Greek,” the actor will first appear on the ABC medical drama in mid-March

“Grey’s Anatomy” has landed a handsome new researcher with Paul James.

James joins the ABC drama in a recurring role starting with an episode airing in mid-March, a network representative told TheWrap.

No details about his storyline are available now, except that he will arrive at the hospital to assist with research.

Fans of ABC Family’s cult college drama, “Greek,” will remember James in the breakout role of gay student Calvin Owens. He also played CIA agent and analyst Noah Vickers on “Torchwood: Miracle Day.” His other credits include CBS’s “CSI: NY,” Showtime’s “Shameless” and the film “The Architect.”
