ABC’s Bernie Madoff Miniseries Starring Richard Dreyfuss to Premiere in February

Get ready to feel swindled all over again, America.

ABC’s miniseries “Madoff,” about infamous Ponzi scheme conman Bernie Madoff, will air February 3 and 4, the network said Thursday.

The miniseries stars Richard Dreyfuss as Bernie Madoff and Blythe Danner as his wife, Ruth.

Peter Scolari, Tom Lipinski, Danny Defarrari, Erin Cummings and Michael Rispoli are also among the cast of the miniseries, about the dynamics within Madoff’s family and the motivations and mechanics behind the massive fraud he engaged in, which cost his clients billions of dollars.

The miniseries, inspired in part by ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross’ book “The Madoff Chronicles,” is produced by Lincoln Square Productions in association with ABC Entertainment. Linda Berman and Joe Pichirallo executive produced the project.

Raymond De Felitta (“City Island”) directs the miniseries, with Ben Robbins (“Final Witness”) writing.
