Adele might have teased new material during the reality TV competition “X Factor” in the U.K. on Sunday, in line with reports that her new album will be coming out in November.
According the BBC, during a mysterious 30-second TV spot, viewers heard a voice singing accompanied by on-screen text of lyrics set against a black background.
“Hello/It’s me/I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet/To go over everything,” the lyrics read. “They say that time’s supposed to heal ya/But I ain’t done much healing…”
The release of her new album would mark a nearly five-year hiatus since her last album, titled “21,” which came out in January 2011. It sold over 4.6 million copies in the U.K. and over 11 million in the U.S.
