Al Roker, Hoda Kotb To Anchor NBC’s Rose Parade Coverage

Kotb teams with veteran Roker for her first year covering New Year’s Day parade

“Today’s” Al Roker and Hoda Kotb will host NBC’s coverage of the 125th Rose Parade on New Year’s Day, the network announced on Thursday.

Weather anchor Roker has hosted NBC’s live coverage for 17 years, but this will be Kotb’s first. The parade has been an annual tradition in Pasadena, Calif., for 125 years, and this year will feature a performance from the yet-to-be-crowned winner of NBC’s “The Voice.”

Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully serves as the parade’s Grand Marshal.

The 125th Rose Parade will air live on NBC New Year’s Day, Wednesday Jan 1, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. ET.
