Alicia Silverstone Returning to Broadway in ‘The Performers’

Alicia Silverstone, best known for the movie "Clueless," is making her third trip to Broadway. 

Alicia Silverstone has signed on to the cast of David West Read's comedy "The Performers," which is scheduled to open on Broadway Nov. 14.

Getty ImagesThe "Clueless" film actress joins previously announced cast members Henry Winkler of "Happy Days" fame, "30 Rock" regular Cheyenne Jackson, Tony nominee Daniel Breaker ("Passing Strange") and former "Fringe" actress Ari Graynor.

"The Performers" revolves around two high school friends (Jackson and Breaker) and their girlfriends (Graynor and Silverstone) who reconnect at the Adult Film Awards in Las Vegas.

Evan Cabnet is directing the play, which is schedule to begin previews Oct. 23 at Broadway's Longacre Theater.

Silverstone was last seen on Broadway in 2010 in Donald Margulies' play "Time Stands Still." She previously appeared in "The Graduate" in 2002.
