Twentieth Century Fox has released a new “Alien: Covenant” set photo, in which fans get their first look at Katherine Waterston’s character, Daniels.

“Nowhere to run. #AlienCovenant #Daniels,” the caption reads on Twitter. The photo shows Waterston sitting in the right corner of the frame.

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew members of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

“Alien: Covenant” also stars Danny McBride and Demian Bichir. It is directed by Ridley Scott, who also directed “Prometheus” and the original “Alien.” Jack Paglen and Michael Green wrote the script.

Last month, Fox released a first look at the movie on the same Twitter feed shortly after it began production. The image revealed a patch bearing the mark of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. It looked to be a crew badge from the Covenant, the title ship in the movie.

“Alien: Covenant” hits theaters on August 4, 2017. Take a look at the new image below.
