"The Amazing Spider-Man" hits theaters on July 3, so to get fans in the swing of things Sony has released its most in-depth look yet at the perils that await the wall-crawler.
Andrew Garfield is stepping into the skintight blue and red suit previously donned by Tobey Maguire and from the looks of things, audiences are in for a snarkier Spidey.
There's also some irresistible glimpses of Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard (Rhys Ifans), who will be menacing the masked vigilante this go-round, as well as Emma Stone playing Spidey's romantic interest, Gwen Stacey.
Marc Webb, who previously helmed "(500) Days of Summer," takes over the director's chair from Sam Raimi.
What do you think — based on the preview, will this Spider-Man fly or does it leave you missing the gang from the original films?
