Taylor Swift was named artist of the year as well as best country female artist at Sunday’s 39th annual American Music Awards, while Adele wone the most awards of the night with three.
Adele won for Adult Contemporary Artist, Pop/Rock Female Artist, and Pop/Rock Album for “21.” Swift and Nicky Minaj the second-most awards, winning two each. Minaj won for Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Rap/Hip-Hop Album for “Pink Friday”
