The Jennifer Lopez-hosted 2015 American Music Awards have closed the curtain, but not before boy band One Direction took home the Artist of the Year trophy. The Weeknd and Nicki Minaj also had big nights on Sunday.
The 2015 AMAs featured performances by Lopez,The Weeknd, One Direction, Justin Bieber, 5 Seconds of Summer, Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, and Demi Lovato.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Gwen Stefani, Carrie Underwood, and Walk the Moon also pitched in, among others.
The ABC telecast also featured a special tribute and song by Jared Leto and Celine Dion, respectively, dedicated to the victims of the recent Paris terror attacks. Later, Harrison Ford stopped by to debut a new clip from upcoming Disney film “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
