In a sneak peek for “America’s Got Talent,” a married couple wows the audience by channeling Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell in a performance of “You’re All I Need to Get By.”
The Smiths often perform as background vocalists for Alicia Keys and Estelle, they told the audience.
When the duo launched into their performance, the crowd stood up to dance along, while judges Heidi Klum, Mel B, Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell watched in astonishment.
And backstage, Nick Cannon cheered along.
“That’s love! All I need to get by,” he told the camera.
The fifth episode of “America’s Got Talent” will air on Tuesday night at 8/7c. Previous episodes made headlines when a 13-year-old received a standing ovation for a Donald Trump dig and when an 82-year-old man covered a Drowning Pool song.
