Amy Schumer to Present at 67th Annual Emmy Awards

“It will be fun and funny and fun times,” the “Inside Amy Schumer” star writes

Amy Schumer will be a presenter at the 67th Annual Emmy Awards, the comedian announced Wednesday.

“I get to present at the @TelevisionAcad #Emmys! Tune in to @FOXTV on Sept 20 at 5pm PT / 8pm ET It will be fun and funny and fun times,” Schumer tweeted from her official account.

In addition to presenting, Schumer is also nominated for four awards, including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her starring role on Comedy Central’s “Inside Amy Schumer.” She was previously in 2014 for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series, also for “Inside Amy Schumer.”

2015 has been a banner year for Schumer. In addition to her Emmy nominations, she also starred in the hit comedy movie “Trainwreck,” which was directed by Judd Apatow. The film has grossed $133 million worldwide at the time of this publishing.

She is the latest celebrity to be named as a presenter at the annual awards show. The Television Academy previously announced that the following people would also present: Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, LL Cool J, Jimmy Kimmel, Amy Poehler, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

The 67th Annual Emmy Awards will be hosted by Andy Samberg and aired live on Fox Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET.
