‘Arsenio Hall Show’ Books Eddie Murphy as a Guest

Actor will appear on his “Coming to America” costar’s show to discuss his new album, hopefully belt out “Party All the Time”

“Coming to America” reunion, anyone?

Eddie Murphy will join his costar from the hit 1988 comedy, Arsenio Hall, on the Nov. 19 edition of the syndicated late-night offering “The Arsenio Hall Show.”

Murphy, who appeared on the original, 1989-94 version of the talk show six times, will drop in to promote his upcoming album “9” (out in 2014). The LP includes “Red Light,” his collaboration with Snoop Dogg, and the single “Promise (You Won’t Break My Heart).”

“The questions I have been asked more times than any others since announcing I would be coming back to late night are ‘Will Eddie be a guest?’ and ‘When is Eddie stopping by?’” Hall said of the upcoming guest spot. “The answers are ‘yes’ and ‘November 19.’ I can’t wait to get one of my best friends back on the couch and maybe he’ll even sing a little reggae for us.”

Other upcoming guests on the new iteration of “The Arsenio Hall Show” — which launched Sept. 9 –include “New Girl” star Zooey Deschanel, actress Mayim Bialik of “The Big Bang Theory,” Whoopi Goldberg and Mike Tyson.
