“Days of Our Lives,” last year’s winner for Outstanding Drama Series, has 27 overall nominations, followed by “General Hospital” with 25. The two will compete again for the biggest prize this year, along with “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless.”

“Days of Our Lives” also had several cast members nominated for lead and supporting acting categories, with the show’s Marci Miller nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, along with Maura West and Laura Wright from “General Hospital,” and Heather Tom and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood from “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

“Days of Our Lives” actors Tyler Christopher and Billy Flynn were nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series along with Maurice Benard and Jon Lindstrom of “General Hospital,” and Peter Bergman of “The Young and the Restless.”

“We are very excited today to announce the nominees for the 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” said Adam Sharp, president and CEO of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). “We look forward to a grand celebration honoring the best of Daytime television both in front of the camera and behind as we return for the third year in a row to the classic Pasadena Civic Auditorium.”

“The incredible level of talent and craft reflected in our nominees continues to show the growing impact of Daytime television and the incredible diversity of programming the viewing audience has to choose from,” said Brent Stanton, executive director of Daytime for NATAS. “With the help of some outstanding new additions to our staff, Rachel Schwartz and Lisa Armstrong, and the continued support of Luke Smith and Christine Chin, we have handled another record-breaking number of entries this year. Many thanks to our hundreds of great judges, who through their hard work and dedication, have come up with a stellar list of nominees that exemplify the best in Daytime!”

The 46th Daytime Emmy Awards will take place on Sunday, May 5 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be held there on May 3.

In addition to Sarah Silverman’s Hulu series, Purcell has worked as a writer and producer on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where he led on-air production, as well as the show’s interactive elements. Purcell was also a writer for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.

“Gavin’s experience in late night and throughout the digital space adds a fresh creative voice to our slate as his talent for bridging genres and platforms makes him the perfect creator for today’s content landscape,” Meredith Ahr, president of alternative and reality group at NBC Entertainment, said on Wednesday. “We are all big fans of his work and can’t wait to have him as part of the Universal Television team.”

Purcell previously served as head of video at Vox Media, overseeing video production, development and strategy for all of Vox Media’s brands. He has won two Emmys for his work on “The Tonight Show.”

Silverman’s “I Love You, America” was canceled in January after just one season.

Purcell is repped by UTA and Hansen Jacobson.

In an excerpt from Ramin Setoodeh’s upcoming book “Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View” first published by Vulture, McCarthy described her “miserable” short-lived stint as a c0-host on the ABC show on Season 17, from 2013 to 2014.

“You know the movie ‘Mommie Dearest’? I remember as a child watching that movie and going, ‘Holy cow!’ I’ve never seen a woman yell like that before until I worked with Barbara Walters,” McCarthy said, referring to the 1981 film about classic Hollywood star Crawford’s tumultuous upbringing of her adoptive daughter.

McCarthy also recalled Walters publicly berating her for a tampon left floating in a communal toilet.

“She’s standing in the hallway where the guests are, yelling at me about a tampon,” McCarthy told Setoodeh. “Maybe in her brain, she went, ‘I’m going to the youngest, newest person here, because obviously she has her period and left a tampon floating.’ This is Barbara Walters. I’m not going to yell at her. So finally I said, ‘I’ll take care of it. I’ll take one for the team and I’ll flush it.'”

The comedic actress also detailed a run-in with Walters in 2007 when she appeared as a guest to promote her book, “Louder Than Words: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Autism,” which broaches her unsubstantiated belief that vaccines lowered her son’s immune system and triggered his autism.

“I walked into her dressing room and she blew up at me,” McCarthy said of Walters. “She was screaming, ‘How dare you say this! That autism can be cured?’ My knees were shaking. I remember my whole body was shaking.”

But there were other times when McCarthy had empathy for Walters, when she bore witness to frequent fighting backstage between Walters and fellow co-host Whoopi Goldberg.

“The table reminds me a little bit of ‘Survivor,'” McCarthy said in the book. “There was a war between Barbara and Whoopi about Barbara wanting to moderate. This is one of the reasons I decided not to ally with Whoopi. It broke my heart when Barbara would shuffle to Whoopi and say, ‘Can I moderate please?’ And Whoopi would say no.”

In the end, a gig that once represented job security and a chance to voice her opinion proved to be an overall negative experience for McCarthy, who said ABC executives tried to groom her into to fill the shoes of her predecessor on the show, the conservative former “Surivor” reality series star Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

“They did try to change me. They wanted Elisabeth [Hasselbeck] back, and I wasn’t Elisabeth,” McCarthy said. “I would literally have meetings before the show of them trying to input opinions in me to go against Whoopi. I was going to work crying. I couldn’t be myself. Every day I went home and I was miserable. It really was the most miserable I’ve been on a job in my twenty-five years of show business.”

“For some time now, and even today and beyond, I have been living in a sober house,” she said.

Surrounded by a live audience, 54-year-old Williams detailed her daily routine, from waking up and going to work, to going to bed at 10 p.m. per the sober house’s “lights out” rule.

“So I go to my room, and I stare at the ceiling and I fall asleep to wake up and come back here to see you. So that is my truth,” she said to applause. “I know, either you are calling me crazy or the bravest woman you know. I don’t care.”

Williams explained that up until that point, not even her parents knew her living situation. The only people who knew were her  her husband Kevin Hunter and her son Kevin Hunter Jr.

“When you see me come to work, glammed up, right after the show, I go across the street, I do my Pilates. I told you, two hours a day… to take care of my body,” she said. “And you know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get the treatment. I don’t know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped.”

Highlighting the work she’s been doing with The Hunter Foundation, a drug prevention non-profit organization she started with her husband and son, she encouraged anyone struggling with addiction to call their recently-launched 24-hour helpline, 888-5HUNTER, which she said has already helped to place 56 people in recovery homes.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last July, Williams spoke of her battle with cocaine and referred to herself as “a functioning addict.”

“I would report to work on time and I walked in and all of my coworkers, and including my bosses, would know but instead of firing me, you see, I would grab my headphones and arrogantly walk into the studio and dare them fire me because I was making ratings,” she said in the July interview. “… It’s a miracle I was able to stop.”

Williams returned to “The Wendy Williams Show” on March 4 after taking a break at the beginning of the year due to complications from Graves’ disease and a shoulder fracture.

“I am happy to tell you I am doing swell,” Williams said during her first show back earlier this month, according to Entertainment Tonight. “I’m at home and taking my thyroid meds and meditating and believe me, I am going to the gym seven days a week for two hours a day. Mother has not gained a pound!”

Shannon, of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” fame, was arrested on charges of drug possession and paraphernalia in Macon County, Alabama on March 13, Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson said in a news conference posted by WFSA12 News.

A representative for Shannon and Thompson did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

Shannon, a mother of four including 13-year-old reality star Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, is currently the star of her own We TV reality show called “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” which focuses on her weight-loss transformation. The first episode of Season 3 aired Friday. More episodes are being made and will continue to air, according to a person with knowledge of production.

TLC canceled “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” in 2014 after news broke of Shannon’s relationship with a man who was convicted of molesting one of Shannon’s young relatives. They have since broken up.

Shannon and her boyfriend of three years, Eugene “Geno” Doak, were taken into custody after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute on the highway that resulted in a domestic violence charge for Doak, Brunson said.

“But I really didn’t see that because they were acting so loving when they were here,” Brunson said, referring to the jail. “But out there they did have a domestic.”

Police found the pair sitting in Shannon’s vehicle at a gas station in Franklin, Ala., and discovered drug paraphernalia including a needle and a pipe, Brunson said.

Officials are awaiting lab results to identify a white powdery substance also found in their possession.

Shannon was released on bond the night of her arrest, Brunson said. He added that due to Doak’s domestic violence charge, he was required to remain in custody for 24 hours before he was released on bond.

Brunson did not provide the dollar amount of either bond. Calls to the department were not immediately returned on Tuesday.

“[Shannon] came and took care of [Doak] after she got out,” Brunson said. “Miss Shannon was very nice and funny of course. We didn’t have any problem with either one,” he said.

He maintained that the pair did not receive preferential treatment due to their fame.

“I wasn’t too familiar with the Mama June and all, you know the whole TV series… but somebody recognized them right away,” he said. “They were treated the same as anybody else when they come to the Macon County jail.”

Entertainment Weekly was first to report that Shemar Moore (Malcolm Winters), Victoria Rowell (Drucilla Winters) and Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtis Winters) have signed on to return to CBS’s long- running daytime drama in order to pay tribute to St. John, whose 27 year run on the show as Neil Winters began in 1991 and earned him two Emmys.

Only Moore will take up his original role as Neil’s brother Malcolm, which he left in 2014, in two episodes airing April 25 and 26. Rowell, who left the show in 2007 after 17 years playing Neil’s wife, and Morgan, who played another one of Neil’s wives from 2013 to 2018, will appear as themselves in a tribute episode to air April 29. The special will feature past and present cast members looking back on St. John’s life, playing clips of his best on-air moments, and sharing stories and memories.

St. John’s character was last seen in a Feb. 6 episode. As for how St. John’s death will affect the show’s storyline, a spokesperson for the show said in a statement, “Beginning in late April, Y&R will feature a storyline that pays tribute to both Kristoff and his character.” EW reports that his death will be addressed for the first time in the April 23 episode as the residents of the fictionalized version of Genoa City, Wisconsin learn of Neil’s passing.

“We all miss Kristoff immensely and are understandably still in a bit of shock,” executive producer Anthony Morina told EW. “Our hope is that this storyline and tribute episode airing in April will honor the legendary character Kristoff helped create, and provide our audience with the opportunity to say a meaningful goodbye to Neil Winters.”

Hosted by “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro, the newly ordered baking competition series will test not only contestants’ oven skills, but their business savvy as well. “Bake You Rich” lets four entrepreneurial pastry chefs face off for the chance to have one of their custom-made creations sold to the public on the Carlo’s Bakery website, per the popular cable channel.

The four-episode series features new obstacles that go beyond tasting good and looking pretty. Each episode involves three challenges, with the final two competitors going head-to-head to mass-produce their confections at Carlo’s, all the while dealing with machinery malfunctions and last-minute recipe changes. The rotating panel of judges includes Valastro, Chad Durkin, Erin McGinn, Vincent Tubito, and Valastro’s wife Lisa, who must decide which tasty treat is best poised to sell big in Carlo’s online marketplace.

Smollett — who was arrested on the felony charge of filing a false police report claiming to be the victim of a hate crime — is currently nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

“It would be nothing short of a slap in the face to those civil rights heroes for the NAACP to now honor Smollett with an Image Award while he’s suspected of using symbols of racial barbarism — including a noose — to shamelessly advance and promote his career,” Project 21’s Jerome Hudson said in a statement.

The black leadership network has a history of keeping tabs on the NAACP Image Awards. In 2004, they criticized the NAACP for not rescinding disgraced singer R. Kelly’s nomination for outstanding album while he was under indictment for child pornography allegations, according to the Los Angeles Times.

“Everyone has a reason to be disappointed with Jussie Smollett right now,” Project 21 co-chairman Council Nedd II said. “Smollett is charged with perpetrating a hate crime hoax that wasted valuable police resources and stoked racial tensions nationwide. It hurt our nation’s ability to heal its racial wounds and made the NAACP’s civil rights goals harder to achieve. The NAACP needs to make it clear that his behavior is not OK by removing him from contention for an Image Award.”

Representatives for the NAACP’s Image Awards and Smollett did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s requests for comment.

On Thursday, Smollett plead not guilty to 16 counts of disorderly conduct in a Chicago court, according to the Chicago Tribune. The actor was indicted on March 8 after being accused of lying to police about a Jan. 29 incident in which he claims to have been randomly attacked by two men shouting racial and homophobic slurs in his Chicago neighborhood.

Smollett’s next court date is April 17, according to CBS Chicago.

The NAACP Image Awards will take place March 30 in Hollywood.

Netflix has released the first trailer for “Black Summer,” the prequel to Syfy’s recently cancelled “Z Nation.”

“Black Summer” tells the story leading up to the events of “Z Nation,” which begins three years after the rise of hostile zombies’ assault on human life. The series follows “Hart of Dixie” actress Jaime King playing a mother who loses her daughter during the collapse of civilization that follows a zombie outbreak. King’s character searches for her daughter while the first and deadliest summer of the apocalypse unfolds.

“Black Summer” premieres four months after Syfy announced their decision not to renew “Z Nation” for a sixth season, the final episode of which aired Dec. 28.

“You guys are our family, so we wanted to tell you face-to-face in person that we were not renewed for Season 6,” producer David Michael Latt said in a periscope video on Dec. 21. “We’re stopping at Season 5. We’re very sad, but we’re also really grateful with the opportunities that we had on the show.”

Producer David L. Garber added, “The sad news is ‘Z Nation’ is over, but the good news is we have a show starting in the spring, which is kind of an origin story. It’s called ‘Black Summer.’ It’ll be on Netflix exclusively.”

“Black Summer” premieres April 11 on Netflix.

The episode that set-off the POTUS’ Twitter rant was Saturday night’s rerun of the 2018 Christmas episode in which the cold open — titled “It’s a Wonderful Trump” — shows Alec Baldwin as Trump getting his wish that he had never become president, while people like the first lady and Kellyanne Conway live happier lives as a result.

Trump, himself a previous ‘SNL’ host in 2004 and 2015, was similarly incensed the first time he saw the skit in December, tweeting the next day, “A REAL scandal is the one sided coverage, hour by hour, of networks like NBC & Democrat spin machines like Saturday Night Live. It is all nothing less than unfair news coverage and Dem commercials. Should be tested in courts, can’t be legal? Only defame & belittle! Collusion?”

The first season of “Bug Diaries,” a Prime Original animated series for preschoolers, follows Spider, Fly and Worm on their daily adventures recorded in their bug diaries. From riding on a dog’s back to dodging raindrops, the three bug buddies will appear on the streamer starting April 12.

Season 5 of “Bosch” picks up 15 months after Det. Harry Bosch caught his mother’s killer. Per the streamer’s description, new evidence in an old case leaves everyone wondering whether Bosch planted evidence to convict the wrong guy. And a murder at a Hollywood pharmacy exposes a sophisticated opioid pill mill, sending Bosch down a dark and perilous path in pursuit of the killers. It drops April 19.

In the second season of “The Tick,” Tick and Arthur have freed the City from The Terror — now they must defend it from new villains and old enemies. That is if they can convince AEGIS, the government agency in charge of superhero regulation, that they deserve the job. But now that the City is ‘safe enough to protect’ Tick and Arthur begin to see they’ve got competition. It will be released on April 5.

“Diablo Guardian,” which is based on Xavier Velasco’s award-winning novel, tells the story of Violetta, a young woman who flees her native Mexico to start anew in New York City. But instead of living a dream, Violetta is awoken to a harsh reality when she runs out of money, sending her into the arms of the villainous Nefastófeles. The second season of “Diablo Guardian” will be released on April 12.

“Ramy,” debuting April 19, tells the story of first generation Egyptian-American Ramy Hassan as he finds himself in his New Jersey neighborhood, stuck at a crossroads between the morals of his Muslim community and the moral ambiguity of his millennial generation. “Into The Dark: I’m Just F*cking With You,” coming April 1, finds two siblings in a secluded motel, where they become subject to practical jokes of an increasingly frightening nature.

At the time of her death, Tomlinson was a model and social media influencer with over 1.3 million followers on Instagram.

When asked for further comment, Ann-Marie Thomson, a representative for Louis, referred us to a story published by The Sun, which reported Thursday that Tomlinson collapsed at her apartment in Earls Court, West London. According the paper, a person at the scene then called an ambulance, and paramedics attempted to resuscitate her before she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A cause of death has not yet been made public.

The sun also reports that Louis Tomlinson has withdrawn from a scheduled performance on BBC1 charity show “Comic Relief.” In 2016, the British pop star’s mother, Johanna Deakin, died of Leukemia at 43.

In a statement to E! News, the Metropolitan Police Service said that police responded to a London address following reports of a female in cardiac arrest. “Police are in the process of informing her next of kin,” reads the statement from police to E! News. “At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.”

The worlds of Hollywood and politics are once again colliding, this time in the form of what Rosario Dawson calls a “loving” relationship with presidential-hopeful Sen. Cory Booker.

The “Rent” actress confirmed to TMZ Thursday in Washington, D.C. that she and Booker are “very much” dating and in love.

“So far, so wonderful,” she said, describing Booker as “brilliant and kind and caring and loving.”

“I am just grateful to be with someone that I respect and love and admire so much,” Dawson said.

The New Jersey Democrat announced Feb. 1 his plans to run in the 2020 presidential campaign against President Trump, joining candidates who include Sens. Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren and Kirsten Gillibrand, former Obama cabinet member Julián Castro, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, and Rep. Beto O’Rourke, who announced his candidacy Thursday.

Dawson’s comments on her relationship with Booker — which were in response to questions from a TMZ interviewer as she walked through an airport — provided some distraction from the focus on O’Rourke’s announcement.

In 2016, she supported Sen. Bernie Sanders, whose is also running in 2020.

Booker teased the pair’s relationship last month on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” saying that he was seeing someone “really special” without name-dropping Dawson.

TMZ’s video shows Dawson showing off one of Booker’s campaign buttons. When asked if she thought he’d make a good president, she said, “I think so, yeah. He’s an amazing human being.”

The rebooted sitcom was canceled Thursday after three seasons on Netflix, followed by an outpouring of support that resulted in the hashtag #saveODAAT becoming the number one worldwide trend on Twitter in an hour.

Echoing the last-minute save that found “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” a new home on NBC for a sixth season, the “Mary Poppins Returns” star tweeted at the network hoping to inspire some conversations about the fan-beloved “One Day at a Time.”

“Hey @nbc…I hear you like comedies with built-in fan bases that do even better on YOUR network than at their previous homes,” Miranda tweeted in response to creators and showrunners Mike Royce and Gloria Calderon Kellett’s statement on the cancellation.

Miranda is a self-professed “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” fan — he recently guest starred in a March 7  episode of the series’ sixth season. He was also one of a team of supporters that came to the show’s rescue when it was canceled, including Seth Meyers, Mark Hamill, Guillermo del Toro and Sean Astin. Their combined support helped the series get saved after only one day in limbo.

The “One Day at a Time” team is hoping their project will meet a similar fate in its hour of need. TheWrap earlier reported that Sony Pictures Television has plans to shop the show around to other potential networks and outlets in the coming weeks, according to an individual familiar with the situation.

According to Netflix, the cancellation was due to low viewership. “The choice did not come easily — we spent several weeks trying to find a way to make another season work but in the end simply not enough people watched to justify another season,” the streamer said in a statement.

“Luckily, I believe in miracles,” Kellett tweeted in a thread Thursday. “So, maybe we’ll find a home somewhere else. I hope we do cause @mikeroyce & I have a lot more for these wonderful characters to do.”

On the eve of its release, Netflix has dropped the trailer for true-crime documentary series “The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann.”

“If you made a dozen movies out of this, nobody would believe them,” one participant in the docuseries tells trailer viewers right off the bat.

“I’ve done thousands of cases, the Madeleine case, I’ve seen the worst things a human being can see — the worst,” an investigator adds.

Promising a deep dive into every piece of evidence and potential theory of what has been called the most famous missing child case in British history, the streaming series reexamines the events of the night of May 3, 2007, when 3-year-old McCann disappeared while on vacation with her family at Praia de Luz resort in Portugal.

The project emerges two years after it was greenlit in 2017, with the series order marking a decade since the case was opened. Directed by Chris Smith (“Fyre: The Greatest Party that Never Happened”), the eight-episode series draws on 120 hours of interviews with over 40 contributors, including journalists, investigators and people close to the McCann family.

“The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann” includes archival news footage, reenactments and never-before-seen testimonies. Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, did not participate in the series.

The project is produced by UK company Pulse Films in associations with Paramount Television. Emma Cooper and Thomas Benski serve as executive producers.

“The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann” debuts Friday, March 15 on Netflix.

Titled “That’s My Jam,” the series has received a 10-episode order and will feature a new cast of celebs each week participating in an hour-long competition filled with brand new music and dance-based games in the spirit of the late-night host’s popular celebrity-challenge segments like “Wheel of Musical Impressions,” “Musical Genre Challenge” and “History of Rap.”

“We love playing these games on the show and it’ll be fun to see it taken to the next level,” Fallon, who will executive produce the series, said.

“Jimmy reinvented the late-night genre with his one-of-a-kind celebrity game segments that show our favorite stars at their most clever, creative and relaxed,” Meredith Ahr, president of Alternative and Reality Group at NBC Entertainment, added. “We’re thrilled to bring viewers a new set of games and create a weekly party that is just as much fun to watch as it is to play along.”

The “That’s My Jam” format was brought to Universal Television Alternative Studio by Fallon, his longtime “Tonight Show” producer Jim Juvonen and writer Josh Knapp. Jeff Apploff will serve as showrunner on the series.

The series follows first responders across the nation as they insert themselves into situations while answering emergency rescue calls, and will premiere on April 22.

The series is a follow-up to A&E and Big Fish’s “Live PD,” which also follows police officers responding to everyday calls across the country. That series is hosted by Dan Abrams with analysis from Tom Morris Jr. and Sean “Sticks” Larkin.

“‘Live Rescue’ is the next incarnation of our groundbreaking partnership with Big Fish Entertainment, following the brave paramedics and first responders who risk their lives every day to keep us safe despite the challenges of their jobs,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vice president and head of programming for A&E.  “The team at Big Fish has assembled a best-in-class production team of broadcast news veterans and we are looking forward to adding ‘Live Rescue’ to the A&E portfolio of brave storytelling.”

Dan Cesareo, Lucilla D’Agostino, John Zito, and Jordana Starr serve as executive producers from Big Fish, while Elaine Frontain Bryant, Shelly Tatro, and Sean Gottlieb will executive produce for A&E.

The series of eight two-hour episodes will air Mondays on A&E.

Hours after Lori Loughlin was named in a nationwide college admissions cheating scam, NBC’s “Today” resurfaced a 2017 interview with Loughlin and her daughter Isabella Giannulli, who at the time was preparing for her freshman year of college at USC.

“She’s not going to far, but my husband keeps saying, ‘Lori, you’re not gonna see her so just be prepared,'” Loughlin said in the clip. “I think I’m in complete denial, I really am, because when I think about it too much it will make me cry.”

Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, were among 46 people federal prosecutors say paid up to $6 million in bribes to ensure their children’s admission into top tier universities like Yale, Stanford, Georgetown and USC, according to charging documents.

In the clip, Loughlin nods as her daughter confirms her plans to study acting at USC.

“I just love all of it. I’d be happy to do anything,” Isabella said, explaining that her mother had “helped me with so many auditions, which is so nice.”

At the time the clip aired, the pair had recently filmed a Hallmark movie together called “Homegrown Christmas.”

“She’s so new so she’s just — it takes time. And you have to know, 9 times out of 10, even higher, you’re not gonna get the job,” Loughlin said of the selective audition process.

Court filings say that Loughlin and her husband “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.”

“Desperate Housewives” star Felicity Huffman was also named in the case. Her husband, “Shameless” actor William H. Macy, was not named, but did join his wife in making a charitable donation of $15,000 “to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter,” according to the affidavit.

The six-part hourlong series, premiering in May, follows a Pentagon program called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which explored what the program referred to as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP). The series features interviews with former military intelligence official and head of AATIP Luis Elizondo, who served as a primary source when the program’s existence was exposed by The New York Times in 2017.

After resigning from the program, Elizondo joined DeLonge’s To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science, which combines science, aerospace and entertainment  to research and engineer scientific phenomena. Together, Elizondo and DeLonge and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and Intelligence Chris Mellon will speak out about UAP encounters and new investigations shedding light on information about which the public has long been kept in the dark.

Also involved in the series are Steve Justice, retired Program Director for Advanced Systems at Lockheed Martin’s Skunkworks and the Aerospace Division Director for To The Stars Academy; Hal Puthoff,  CIA researcher, quantum physicist; and Vice President of Science and Technology at To The Stars Academy; and Jim Semivan, retired CIA senior intelligence service member and vice president of operations at To The Stars Academy.
