Things are heating up fast on the new season of “Gotham.”
In an exclusive clip of next week’s episode obtained by TheWrap, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) are on the hunt for the Maniax, particularly Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan), after the attack on the Gotham Police headquarters.
Their informant swears he doesn’t know anything, but promises to spread the word throughout Gotham’s underworld that the police are on the hunt for Valeska.
The episode follows Gordon and Bullock as they track down a nemesis from the past, leading to a standoff between Valeska and Gordon. Meanwhile, a magic show at the Gotham Children’s Hospital gala turns into a hostage situation.
“Gotham” next airs Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
