Bill O’Reilly is having quite a month, dominating the cable news landscape while simultaneously sitting atop the New York Times best-seller list with his book, “Killing the Rising Sun.”

Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” has been the No. 1 show in cable news for 192 consecutive months. O’Reilly finished November as the most-watched cable news program among total viewers, the key news demo of adults age 25-54 and the younger demo of viewers age 18-49 that is typically used for entertainment content.

The book detailing the final years of World War II, “Killing the Rising Sun,” by O’Reilly and Martin Dugard, is back atop the Times best-seller list after briefly slipping to No. 2 last week.

During November, O’Reilly averaged 4 million total viewers and 816,000 in the key news demo. Just last night, O’Reilly averaged 3.98 million viewers to beat his competition combined, as CNN’s “AC360” and MSNBC’s “All in with Chris Hayes” failed to surpass the one-million viewers plateau.

O’Reilly’s success is a big part of Fox News’ big November, which was the network’s top month in four years — since the last election — in terms of prime-time total viewers. November 2016 is FNC’s second-highest-rated month as far as total day tune-in goes.

It’s now 179 months straight that Fox News Channel can claim cable news’ top spot when ranking respective overall audiences. The net has even been No. 1 across all of basic cable for 14 straight weeks, and for sixth months of the year thus far.
