Bobbi Kristina Brown Receives Touching Tribute From Tyler Perry (Video)

“Madea” director shares video he created for daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston’s funeral

Director Tyler Perry, a close friend of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family, paid tribute to Brown on Friday, posting a video that he created for Brown’s funeral online.

The video, published on Perry’s Facebook page, offers a photo montage of Brown, who died on July 26 at age 22 after a six-month struggle. It also highlights some quotes from the ill-fated daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston.

“I hope you feel my love, pain, beauty, agony at times, blessings all the ime,” the tribute reads. “No one understands me. And I don’t expect them to, but I will try to spread my love and my story through words and this blessing of a powerful voice Mom has given me.”

The video then delivers a slideshow of photos spanning Brown’s life, set to Houston’s song “You Were Loved.”

“The Houston estate asked if I would share this tribute that I put together for Bobbi Kristina’s private funeral,” Perry wrote. “On behalf of the Brown and Houston families, we would all like to thank you for your prayers and support. God bless.”
