Country singer Brad Paisley will be headlining a tour across college campuses next month.
Paisley, who is represented by WME-IMG, will perform free concerts at IMG College partner universities, and will again serve as a spokesperson for IMG’s College Colors Day, a nationwide celebration of the new college football season.
The Country Nation College Tour sponsored by Zaxby’s will begin Sept. 6 at Virginia Tech, with country artist Eric Paslay as special guest. Other dates announced are Sept. 10 at The University of Texas with Pat Green; Sept. 11 at Baylor University with The Raging Idiots; and Sept. 12 at University of Arkansas with The Raging Idiots. Details on each show, as well as additional university dates, will be announced in the coming weeks.
“Music and sports are passions of so many people–Zaxby’s included–and we couldn’t think of a better way to unite the two this fall,” said Zaxby’s CEO and co-founder Zach McLeroy in a statement. “We’re even more passionate about the guests and communities we serve, and this sponsorship is a perfect opportunity for us to give back to our fans.”
“This was the type of big-picture collaboration that we all envisioned when WME and IMG College came together,” said University of Arkansas Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long. “We continue to look for ways to enhance our game day experience and this weekend of outstanding college football and country music is a winning combination for our fans.”
