“Broad City” star Ilana Glazer channels her inner Outkast while performing “Hey Ya” in a sneak peek at her “Lip Sync Battle” against co-star Abbi Jacobson on Thursday.
Glazer owns the stage as she interacts with her audience while wearing grey jeans and pumps. However, she doesn’t let those pumps stop her from jumping and shimmying around the stage.
The actress is best-known for her role on Comedy Central’s “Broad City,” which follows Glazer and Jacobson as two Jewish women in their twenties living in New York City.
“Lip Sync Battle” has continued to be ratings powerhouse for cable network Spike, averaging 2.9 million viewers per episode and a 1.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The show co-hosted by LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen is produced by John Krasinski, Stephen Merchant, Casey Patterson, Jay Peterson and Rick Schwartz. Beth McCarthy-Miller of “Saturday Night Live” serves as director.
This week’s “Lip Sync Battle” will air Thursday, August 6 at 10:00pm ET/PT.
