Agents from Charlie Hunnam, Kit Harington’s Teams to Leave CAA (Exclusive)

Larry Galper and Ryan Heck work on the teams of Charlie Hunnam, Kit Harrington and other up-and-coming stars

CAA agents Larry Galper and Ryan Heck — who work on the teams of several high-profile clients, including “Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam and “Game of Thrones” star Kit Harington — will not be returning to the agency in the new year, several individuals with knowledge of their plans tell TheWrap.

Though they work with several clients on the verge of stardom, including Jack O’Connell, star of the upcoming film “Unbroken,” both agents are relatively young — and neither possesses a massive client list that will walk with them.

They have both shared their plans to leave, but details of their plans will not be announced until early next year. Those plans are still being finalized, though the individuals said they would not be going to rival agencies.

This is a natural time of year for people to assess their position and decide if they want to do something different. CAA’s Shawna Kornberg just left to join the comedy department at management company Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Heck became a talent agent in 2008 after serving on the desk of CAA partner Bryan Lourd. Galper, a Syracuse graduate, has been at CAA since 2004.
