Samuel L. Jackson’s UppiTV has set up two projects at CBS, a multicamera comedy from writer Bob Kushell and medical drama from writer Andrea Newman.
The projects are produced by CBS TV Studios, which has extended its first-look with UppiTV for another year.The Kushell comedy is about the wife of a U.S. Congressman who inherits her husband’s seat when he dies unexpectedly.
The Andrea Newman drama is about an emergency-room doctor who uses unconventional methods to treat patients.
