Chuck Lorre Productions Names Suzanne McCormack VP of Development

Executive will also serve as coordinating producer on all of Lorre’s series

Suzanne McCormack has been named vice president of development at Chuck Lorre Productions, Inc. (CLP), the company announced Thursday.

In the newly created position, McCormack will spearhead the development and production of network and cable television projects, both comedic and dramatic, for CLP as it expands its programming offerings.

McCormack will be responsible for generating potential series ideas, targeting specific titles and formats for acquisition, and identifying key writers and directors for collaboration. She will work extensively with creative talent throughout all stages of the development process, and will prepare focused pitches and presentations tailored to specific network needs.

“Suzanne has been a valued part of the team here for many years, and I’ve come to rely on her in a deeply codependent way,” Lorre said.

Concurrent with serving as vice president, McCormack will maintain her ongoing duties as coordinating producer on all CLP series. Current programs produced by CLP include: “The Big Bang Theory;” “Mom;” and “Mike & Molly.”

Additionally, CLP produced the long-running hit CBS comedy “Two and a Half Men,” which concluded its 12-year run in February 2015.

McCormack became coordinating producer of “Two and a Half Men” and “The Big Bang Theory” in 2010, and then added coordinating producer responsibilities on “Mom” and “Mike & Molly” in 2013.

Prior to joining CLP, McCormack worked at Warner Bros. Television and CBS’s “The Early Show.”
