Pageant coach Bill Alverson spends some quality time with his daughter in-law in a new preview of TLC’s “Coach Charming.”
“Ever heard of a wonderful little thing called a Kegel exercise?” he asks. “We want to be all good because we want to have [baby] number two.”
The unsolicited advice prompts Helen Ann to gripe to her husband that his father is trying too hard to act like a friend of hers, to often uncomfortable results. “Would your father in-law buy you panties?” she asks.

In the small town of Andalusia, Alabama, Bill is a prominent attorney and involved father of three. His candid and blistering honesty have made him an in-demand champion behind the pageant stage and in the courtroom alike.
“Coach Charming” premieres Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 10 p.m. on TLC.
