Comic-Con 2013: ‘Once Upon a Time’ – Neverland Secrets Revealed!

And who's that little mermaid we spy in Season 3?

Two seasons strong, ABC's 'Once Upon a Time' ushered magic into its Storyville last season.

Now, it embarks on a new adventure to Neverland.

"It is a magical island and the place where imagination comes from," executive producer and co-creator Edward Kitsis said. "You'll see many of the places from the tale and a few you didn't."

Executive producers Kitsis and Adam Horowitz joined cast members Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parilla, Ronert Carlyle, Emilie de Ravin, Michael Raymond James and Colin O'Donaghue at San Diego Comic Con on Saturday.

We last saw our fairy tale characters sailing toward Neverland in search of Henry (Jared Gilmore, who wasn't at the panel).

"It's been a bit rocky, but fun," Parilla said.

After what the EPs described as some intense legal wrangling to write Neverland into the series, they did confirm that we'll finally meet Peter Pan ("He might be scary for some people," said Horowitz.) and Tinkerbell (who will have a connection to someone else on the show aside from Donaghue's Hook).

In an interesting programming announcement, the producers announced that it will air 11 episodes without interruption in the fall and the other 11 in the spring. Apparently, fans have made it clear that they hate waiting weeks between new episodes.

Additionally, there was a hilarious video sketch called "Good Morning Storybrooke" hosted by "Community's" Yvette Nicole Brown and Paul Scheer with Megan Ohry and David Anders with Brad Bell making a cameo as a weatherman.

The panel then ended with a video revealing an actress with red hair swimming from the shore. Did we mention she had a tail?

Hello, Ariel!
