A Times Square street performer dressed as Cookie Monster has reportedly been arrested for allegedly groping a teenage girl.
The New York Post reports Ranulfo Perez, 48, of Passaic, N.J., was appearing as the “Sesame Street” character outside the Toys “R” Us on Broadway on Sunday evening.
Perez was hugging a 16-year old girl outside the store when he allegedly grabbed her breast. He was arrested Monday morning and charged with forcible touching and harassment.
The NYPD did not yet return TheWrap‘s request for comment.
