“The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah likened Wednesday’s final presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in Las Vegas to “a bachelorette party, except the giant novelty dildo was on stage behind a podium.”
Noah also joked that Clinton is due a call from the fashion police for wearing all white after Labor Day, aping the “lock her up” chants that have become popular at Trump campaign events.
Trump and Clinton squared off Wednesday night during the final showdown before November’s general election and “The Daily Show” broadcast live to recap the event.
Noah mocked Trump’s now-infamous “bad hombres” comment and Clinton’s “shifty mode” that gets turned on when her email scandal is raised. Noah’s best line was arguably about the puppet comments made by both candidates during the heated debate.
“To be fair, Trump thinks all women are puppets. That’s why he’s always trying to stick his hand up them,” the comedian said.
Noah also said Trump is running his campaign “like an episode of ‘Scandal,’ only with less black people and less women in power.”
