Ever Carradine has joined David E. Kelley’s upcoming Amazon series “Trial” in a recurring role, TheWrap has learned exclusively.
The series stars Billy Bob Thornton as Billy McBride, a washed-up lawyer whose professional life is turned upside down when a young lawyer who has just been fired from his old firm brings him a wrongful death case that pits him against the head of his former firm.
Carradine will portray Rachel Kennedy, a somewhat damaged client of McBride’s who is resolved to solve the mystery surrounding her deceased brother. The series also stars William Hurt, Maria Bello, Olivia Thirlby, Nina Arianda and Molly Parker.
Most recently, Carradine played Erika in a four-episode arc on the sixth season of the critically acclaimed Showtime series “Shameless.” She has also played Sharon Beck in the TNT series “Major Crimes.” Carradine has also had several film roles, including parts in “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” “Lucky 13” and “Bubble Boy.”
Carradine is the daughter of “Revenge of the Nerds” star Robert Carradine. She is represented by Gersh and Management 360.
Kelley co-wrote “Trial” with Jonathan Shapiro, who also serves as an executive producer. Ross Fineman will also executive produce.
