Apparently, when Cynthia Nixon moved on from “Sex and the City” she didn’t look back.

Despite all the buzz last year surrounding The CW’s prequel to the iconic HBO series, Nixon was clueless about the comedic drama when “Carrie Diaries” star AnnaSophia Robb ran into her at a Broadway show.

“I was at the counter, and I went, ‘Oh, hi, I’m on the ‘Carrie Diaries’ show. I’m a big fan,’” Robb, who plays a teenage Carrie Bradshaw in the 80s, told Vanity Fair. “It was just kind of one of those New York run-ins.”

Nixon, who last played cynical attorney Miranda Hobbes in 2010’s “Sex and the City 2” feature film, has since gone on to appear on Showtime’s “The Big C” and the ReelzChannel miniseries, “World Without End,” and has not apparently kept up with the developments surrounding the series.

“No. She had no idea,” Robb said, “which is the best part.”

That doesn’t mean the series wouldn’t tap Nixon’s character at some point for the series. Currently, a young Samantha Jones (played by Lindsey Gort) is sexing up The CW series, which airs Fridays at 8/7c. Plus, there have been teases that Carrie’s gay bestie, Stanford Blatch will enter the series this season, as well.
