Dennis Miller’s new PodcastOne show “The Dennis Miller Option” is doubling up and will soon air two original episodes per week, TheWrap has learned exclusively.

Beginning the week of June 4, new “Dennis Miller Option” episodes will be released every Tuesday and Thursday.

“The Dennis Miller Option” debuted on April 25, when it immediately entered the Top 10 on the Apple Podcasts comedy charts. It hasn’t dropped out of the category’s Top 25 ever since.

“We live in a world that has podcasts, and those podcasts have to be guarded by people with microphones,” Miller told TheWrap in a statement. “Who’s gonna do it? You? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves listeners! You don’t want the truth, because deep down in places you don’t talk about at parties, you want me on that podcast … you need me on that podcast!”

“From the time I brought Dennis into his highly-successful talk radio show at Westwood One, to his new podcasts here at PodcastOne, I’ve marveled at the wit, humor and practical intelligence he brings to his work,” PodcastOne chairman and CEO Norm Pattiz added. “His fans will not be disappointed in ‘The Dennis Miller Option’ on PodcastOne.”

Miller isn’t new to the PodcastOne airwaves. He and Adam Carolla enjoyed a popular — yet short-lived — run together on the platform’s perfectly named “PO’dcast,” which was officially under the Carolla Digital banner.

That show was put “on hiatus” last March after a mere six-episodes. PodcastOne had hoped to have it back on by July 2017, but it never panned out and the temporary hiatus became a permanent one, which TheWrap exclusively reported at the time. Back then, we were told that Miller’s availability (and perhaps his motivation) was the key problem.

Here’s hoping this new one goes at least two months! Carolla and Miller are still cool, and the latter has been promoting his new series with a weekly segment each Monday on “The Adam Carolla Show.”
