It will primarily focus on the period after gold was discovered and the Boston Company, a group of 40 men who pursue riches in the West from January 1848 to October 1850.

Viewers will learn just how different the men of Boston Company’s expectations were from the harsh reality that they discovered during their pursuit of wealth. In the end, they would end up uncovering an estimated 25 billion dollars without even knowing it, a bounty that would help lay the foundation of the American Empire.
