DISH, Univision Sign Multi-Platform Deal

Deal announced at CES

DISH Network and Univision Communications have signed a mutli-year, multi-platform deal that will bring Univision networks and shows to DISH Latino customers.

The deal, annnounced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, will bring Univision Deportes, Univision tlnovelas, and Univision Noticias, and Univision Deportes Dos to subscribers. Terms were not disclosed.

The deal also includes thousands of hours of novelas and Spanish-language movies for DISH’s Blockbuster @Home package. It also includes the distribution of the Univision Network, TeleFutura, Galavisión and six TV channel offerings: De Película, De Película Clásico, Bandamax, Ritmoson, Telehit and Clásico TV.

"DISH is the leading provider of Latino content in the United States. This deal for exclusive linear and VOD content from Univision provides our customers with the broadest selection of top quality Spanish-language content."
