Disney Channels Worldwide has reached within its ranks and promoted two executives to key leadership roles, the company announced Thursday.
Sean Cocchia has been named senior vice president and general manager, Radio Disney, and David Cobb has been named vice president, business planning and strategy, Disney Channels Worldwide.
Both will report to Disney Channels President Carolina Lightcap.
At Radio Disney, Cocchia succeeds Michael Riley, who was recently named president of ABC Family. Cobb will slide into Cocchia old business planning and strategy role.
Cocchia has been an executive with Disney since 1998. In his new capacity, he will oversee Radio Disney’s national network.
Cobb has been with Disney since 1996, and for the past year has been director, business planning and development, Disney Channels Worldwide. He will be responsible for implementing growth strategies for the company
