Trump Team Calls Carl Paladino’s Obama-Slamming Comments ‘Absolutely Reprehensible’

“Carl’s comments … serve no place in our public discourse,” team says, referring to campaign surrogate’s statements about the First Family

President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team has denounced comments made by campaign surrogate Carl Paladino, who recently wished death on President Obama and made crude comments about the First Lady.

“Carl’s comments are absolutely reprehensible, and they serve no place in our public discourse,” the transition team said in a statement.

Paladino, who co-chaired Trump’s presidential campaign in New York, told local newspaper Artvoice what he wanted for Christmas.

“Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a Herford [cow, sic]. He dies before his trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to Valerie Jarret, who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady [again, sic] cell mate mistook her for being a nice person and decapitated her,” Paladino said.

He was then asked, “What would you most like to see go in 2017?”

“Michelle Obama. I’d like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla,” Paladino wrote.

“Of course I did,” Paladino told the paper on Friday morning. “Tell them all to go f– themselves.”

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo took to Twitter to condemn the remarks.
