Very catty, New York Daily News.

As Donald Trump’s public image went into a tailspin on Friday after audio surfaced of the GOP presidential candidate making lewd comments about women, the Daily News staff jumped into action, coming up with an oh-so-Daily News cover for its Saturday edition.

“Here’s what a newly married Trump said he liked to do to attractive women he meets,” the cover reads. “‘Grab Them by the ‘P-ssy.’”

The Daily News did a clever — or at least cute — bit of self-censorship on the profanity, using three kittens as stand-ins for letters.

Which isn’t really fair to the cats, who seem perfectly delightful, but oh well …

The cover is in response to audio published Friday, of Trump talking to then-“Access Hollywood” personality Billy Bush in 2005. During the chat, Trump bragged about how, “when you’re a star” women let you “do anything.”

“I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” Trump elaborated. “Grab ’em by the pussy.”

In the audio, recorded shortly after Trump married his current wife Melania, the GOP presidential candidate tells Bush of his efforts to bed a married woman, identified by “Access Hollywood” on Friday as its former anchor Nancy O’Dell.

“I moved on her actually, she was down in Palm Beach and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try to f– her, she was married … and I moved on her very heavily,” Trump said.

Later, Trump added, “I moved on her like a bitch, and I could not get there, and she was married. And all the sudden I see her and she’s got the big phony tits, she’s totally changed her look.”
