Donald Trump Surrogate’s ‘Taco Trucks on Every Corner’ Warning Gets a Big ‘Si, Por Favor’ From Twitter

Public says, “Shell, yes” to Latinos for Trump founder’s dystopian prediction

Twitter had a mighty big craving for tacos on Friday, thanks to a warning from Donald Trump supporter Marco Gutierrez.

Gutierrez, founder of Latinos for Trump, appeared on MSNBC on Thursday to warn America of the dangers of his own culture.

“My culture is a very dominant culture. It is imposing and it’s causing problems,” the Mexican-born Gutierrez said.  “If you don’t do something about it, you’re going to have taco trucks [on] every corner.”

Gutierrez presumably meant his comment as a warning, but Twitter seemed to hope it was a promise, if the response to the remarks is any indication.

“Damn, if those trucks got some vegan bean burritos, I’m down for #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner !!!!!!!” one health-conscious enthusiast raved.

“Honestly, if a candidate ran on #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner and nothing else, I suspect they would win around 80% of the vote,” another offered.

“Come on, even Alt.Rights love tacos (they just call them Folded Freedom Flag American Corn Sandwiches),” yet another chimed in.

“Make corners great again!” went another response, a riff on Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan.

“Tacos have a higher approval rating than any candidate,” one amateur political analyst chirped.

And then there was, “Laugh now, but taco trucks are merely the gateway vehicle for chiimichanga vans.”

Read on for some tasty reactions.
