Dwayne Johnson had more than a feeling on his Instagram account Thursday, as he paid tribute to Sib Hashian, the drummer for the rock band Boston whom he referred to as his “second dad.”

Sib’s daughter, Lauren Hashian, has been in a relationship with Johnson since 2007. The pair welcomed a daughter, Jasmine, in December 2015.

“Rest In Peace & Love to my second dad Sib Hashian,” Johnson wrote, in a caption to a photo of the family gathered together. Hashian died Wednesday at age 67 after collapsing on stage while performing on the Legends of Rock Cruise.

Rest In Peace & Love to my second dad Sib Hashian. Don’t know why things have to happen the way they do sometimes. When loved ones leave us so suddenly without having a chance to say goodbye. Perhaps the lesson here is the reminder to live our lives as full and as present as we possibly can, because we just never know what’s around the corner. What a full and exciting life this man lived. What an amazing family he created, loved, watched over and protected. Being on stage, in front of adoring fans, friends and family. Keeping the beat one last time. Your passing in this manner is extremely poetic and somehow beautiful. Thank you for the many life lessons you’ve taught over the years. Grateful. We love you Sib. We miss you. Yhmwitcoltroml. “Hasan burgers” for everyone in heaven.

According to TMZ, Hashian (pictured above center) was on the Legends of Rock Cruise and was in the middle of a set when he suddenly collapsed. CPR was performed and a defibrillator was used.

He was playing alongside fellow ex-band member Barry Goudreau, former Foreigner singer Lou Gramm, former Beach Boy David Marks and former Kansas singer John Elefante at the time of his death, the Boston Globe reported.

Hashian’s son Adam confirmed his death.
