Ellen DeGeneres Thanks Bill O’Reilly for Support Over JC Penney (Video)

The Fox News host defended DeGeneres against the One Million Moms protest

Ellen DeGeneres thanked Fox News host Bill O'Reilly for supporting her when a conservative group tried to have her fired as a JC Penney's spokeswoman because she is gay.

In a segment on his "The O'Reilly Factor" Monday, O'Reilly called the One Million Moms protest a "witch hunt," and said it was not in "the spirit of America."

On "Ellen," DeGeneres played a clip from "The O'Reilly Factor" and offered to share her JC Penney discount with O'Reilly.

"There's somebody else who actually defended me that I'd like to mention: Bill O'Reilly from Fox News," DeGeneres said. "I already sent you out a tweet to thank you … you didn't really make it clear if you were going to shop at JC Penney or not, but if you do, you can use my employee discount any time you want. That's for you Bill. Thank you so much."

O'Reilly also says he invited a representative from One Million Moms to debate the issue on his show, "But, apparently all the one million moms are busy."
