Fandango will introduce paperless mobile tickets at more than 1,400 additional screens across the country.
The announcement means that more comic book lovers will be able to use their smartphones and mobile devices to check into “The Avengers” on May 4.
The latest expansion marks Fandango’s widest paperless ticket rollout yet, adding 1,300 select Cinemark screens and 100 select Regency Theatres screens to its network of paperless mobile ticket locations.
It more than doubles the number of locations where Fandango boasts the service. It had previously offered paperless mobile tickets at 1,200 screens with Regal Entertainment Group, Reading Cinemas and Hollywood Theaters.
