‘Fantastic Four’ Is Doomed From the Start in New Honest Trailer (Video)

Screen Junkies rips into critically-panned Marvel adaptation

The 2015 “Fantastic Four” movie gets torn to shreds in a new Honest Trailer from the team at Screen Junkies.

“It’s been 10 years since the last ‘Fantastic Four’ movie,” the narrator says, “now Fox must crank out another one or lose the rights to another studio that would do a much better job.”

The new trailer also notes that Michael B. Jordan‘s Human Torch has the power “to ignite internet comment sections for being a black guy.” And Dr. Doom (Toby Kebbell) doesn’t escape unscathed, as they say his appearance in the film makes him look like a “crash test Doomy.”

Screen Junkies even wades into the controversy in which director Josh Trank blamed 20th Century Fox for re-cutting the movie in such a way that it ruined his vision for it.

The Honest Trailer series has received more than 550 million views on YouTube, including popular editions for “Breaking Bad,” “Frozen,” “Independence Day,” “The Hunger Games,” “The Dark Knight,” and “The Avengers,” among others.
