“Flip or Flop” star Christina El Moussa offered a warm message about the show’s crew on Wednesday– and in the process sparked a panic among fans that her HGTV series,  could be coming to an end.

El Moussa — whose husband and costar, Tarek El Moussa, filed for divorce in January following a headline-grabbing incident involving a gun — took to Instagram to express her gratitude for her coworkers, posting a picture with the crew.

The reality TV star captioned the photo, “I’ve never met a group of more positive, fun-loving, funny … all around amazing guys … filming 7 seasons of #FlipOrFlop has been a breeze because of them. I [love] each and every one of you.”

Which, on its face, is a lovely sentiment. But some fans took the social-media message as a sign that the series is coming to an end.

“It’s ending??” one concerned fan replied to the post.

“So sad that the show is going to be ending,” another chimed in.

“I hope this isn’t the end of the show!” went another anguished response, which included not one, but two weeping emoticons.

The panic could be the result of timing and wording. Season 8 of “Flip or Flop” premiered late last month, and El Moussa’s “filming 7 seasons” verbiage could suggest that the current season might not be quite so breezy for her.

The El Moussas announced their split after seven years of marriage in a statement to People in December, acknowledging, “Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage … We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.”

According to the El Moussas, they broke up following a May incident during which law enforcement responded to a call of a “possibly suicidal male with a gun.” The call was made after Tarek retrieved a gun from a safe in the couple’s Orange County, California, home and wandered into Chino Hills State Park.

Tarek told deputies that he headed to the park to “blow off some steam,” and that he brought the gun with him as protection against mountain lions and rattlesnakes.

“Flip or Flop,” which premiered in 2013, revolves around the El Moussas, real estate agents who buy distressed properties and renovate them.
