As the first groups of people finally sit down to see “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” the rest of the world is left sitting at home on the Internet, hoping the other jerks don’t spoil anything.
But to protect fans in the inevitable event when someone on Twitter leaks a key plot detail from J.J. Abrams‘ long-awaited “Star Wars” follow-up, a new Google Chrome extension called “Force Block” can be used to eliminate all spoiler content.
Developed by Priceless Misc, the extension scans websites for spoiler-y keywords and blocks out any content it deems objectionable.
