Fox Buys 'Gemini' Pitch from CBS Studios

Fox has bought Krystal Houghton Ziv’s drama pitch “Gemini” from CBS Television Studios, Ben Silverman‘s Electus and Cisneros, an individual with knowledge of the project has told TheWrap.

“Gemini” is inspired by Cisneros’ successful Venezuelan telenovela “Lucia’s Secrets,” which aired on Venevisión earlier this year. Ziv is currently writing the script.

krystalSilverman will executive produce along with Venevision’s Miguel E. Somoza and Ziv. Sean Canino will serve as co-executive producer.

“Gemini” is described as a character-driven drama rooted in some of the most recent advancements in neuroscience. Lucy, a Los Angeles based scientist, agrees to have her body inhabited and remotely controlled by Rose, a wounded FBI agent who is the key to stopping a deadly terrorist attack.

Ziv previously served as a co-executive producer on “CSI: Miami” and “Body of Proof.” She’s represented by UTA and Epicenter.
