Frankenstein drama is scheduled for midseason

Fox has reduced the episode order for midseason drama “Lookinglass,” TheWrap has learned.

The first season of the Frankenstein drama will air 11 episodes instead of the planned 13. The cut comes as a result of the network’s full slate of dramas, including the upcoming ” X-Files” and “Lucifer,” according to an insider familiar with the situation.

The series follows a disgraced, 75-year-old ex-sheriff whose life ends at the hands of corrupt cops. He’s brought back to life and given a second chance by a pair of young tech scientists — twins Otto and Mary — as a 35-year-old with unpredictable near-superhuman abilities. The scientists’ company name is Lookinglass.

“True Blood’s” Rob Kazinsky stars with Adhir Kalyan, Dilshad Vadsaria, Tim DeKay, Philip Baker Hall and Ciara Bravo. The series was previously titled “The Frankenstein Code,” before being renamed in August.

Rand Ravich serves as writer and executive producer for 20th Century Fox TV with Howard Gordon and Michael Cuesta, who directed the pilot.
