Donna Redier Linsk, former Chief Operations Officer of FremantleMedia North America, will head the business operations at Warner Bros.’ Telepictures.
In the newly-created position of Executive Vice President of Business Operations and Programming, she will report to Warner Bros.’ unscripted and alternative television president Mike Darnell.
Linsk will be the top business executive at Telepictures, where she will be responsible for all finance, business and legal affairs, production, operations, administration and current programming matters related to the company’s original television series and digital content. She will also manage Telepictures’ business and operational staff.
The appointment serves as a reunion between Linsk and Darnell, who worked with one another at Fox from 2004-2009 when she held the role as the broadcast network’s senior vice president of business affairs and alternative production.
“I feel incredibly lucky that Donna has decided to join the Telepictures team. She has been a trusted advisor to me for many years, and I could not be more excited to have her here,” said Darnell.
Linsk served as FMNA COO from 2009-2013. She oversaw finance, production, and legal & business affairs for all of FMNA’s entertainment programming across network, cable, syndicated and digital platforms, including series such as “American Idol,” “America’s Got Talent,” “The X Factor,” “Let’s Make a Deal,” “Family Feud” and “The Price Is Right.”
Currently, Telepictures is in production on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the canceled “Bethenny,” “TMZ,” “TMZ Live,” “Extra,” “Judge Mathis,” “The People’s Court” and “Let’s Ask America.”
Talk show “The Real” will launch in national syndication in fall 2014.
